  • Account and profile data: name, email address, phone number, resume, skills, and professional history you add.
  • Assessment data: code you submit, test results, contest ratings, and certificates you earn.
  • Interview data: audio, transcripts, and scores from AI interviews (see section 4).
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, and operating system.
  • Usage data: how you interact with the platform, including features used and feedback you send.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Match talent with employers and show employers the candidates who applied to them.
  • Run, grade, and review coding assessments.
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • Keep the platform secure, prevent fraud, and keep an audit trail of sensitive actions.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

4. AI Interviews and AI Features

Some features use artificial intelligence. AI output helps people decide; it never makes a hiring decision on its own.

  • AI interviews: when you start an AI interview, we ask for your consent first. The conversation is recorded and transcribed, and an AI model scores your answers against the role's competencies. Your camera preview stays on your device and is never recorded.
  • Who sees the results: the hiring team for that role, and you, through your interview report and skill insights.
  • Human review: a person on the hiring team makes every decision. You can ask for a human review of any AI score by contacting us.
  • Resume analysis and matching: resumes you upload and job descriptions are sent to an AI model to suggest skills and matches. You can edit or delete the results.
  • Code review: code you submit may be reviewed by an AI model for feedback. Automated test results decide whether a submission passes.
  • Service providers: voice interviews run through Vapi, and AI analysis uses providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google. They process data on our behalf to provide the feature.

5. Retention and Your Rights

We keep your data while your account is active. You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your data, including interview recordings and transcripts, or to have a person review an AI-assisted result. Email support@hireo.pro and we will respond within 30 days.

6. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information, including encrypted connections, two-factor authentication for staff, access controls, and audit logs.
